The Journal of Research in Applied Linguistics (RALs) journal ensures the long-term preservation and accessibility of its published content through a well-defined electronic backup and archiving policy. This policy specifies how authors can archive copies of their work in personal repositories, institutional archives, and subject-specific repositories. To maintain the integrity of citations and ensure proper credit to the journal, authors are encouraged to share the Version of Record (VoR) rather than the Accepted Manuscript (AM) whenever possible.
RALs follows an open-access model, meaning that all articles are freely available upon publication under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0). This license allows users to distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon the material in any medium or format for noncommercial purposes only, as long as the original authors and source are cited properly.
RALs is committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of all published articles. All articles are stored in a secure electronic repository to ensure continued access and protection against data loss.
Authors are permitted to archive different versions of their manuscripts under the following conditions:
Authors are encouraged to share their work on social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, ResearchGate) as long as they provide a proper citation and a link to the journal’s website. The shared version should ideally include the Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure accurate referencing and citation tracking.
